DAY 1
Entebbe – Fang Fang Hotel. You will warmly be welcomed by our professional guide at Entebbe airport. After a short transfer to your hotel the guide will brief about you safari. Depending on the time of arrival e.g. if your flight arrives in the morning, you will go for a city tour. You can visit some of the landmarks in town with the help of our driver/guide. Overnight at Fang Fang Hotel (bed & breakfast).
DAY 2
Fort Portal. Early morning transfer to Fort Portal arriving in time for lunch at the lodge. Relax at your hotel in the afternoon. In the evening, the guide will brief you on the activities that will take place on the following day program. Overnight at Rwenzori View Guest House or Ataco Guest House (full board).
DAY 3
Kanyanchu River Camp. Early morning go for chimpanzee tracking which will start from Kanyanchu River Camp. This will give you an opportunity to see primates including l’hoestes, red colobus, blue red tailed and gray cheeked mangabey. The guide who will give you detailed information on primates, forest, flora and fauna. After lunch, visit to Bigodi swamp which will give you an opportunity see other small mammals and birds. Overnight at Rwenzori View Guest House or Ataco Guest House (full board).
DAY 4
Kigezi Highlands. Proceed to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest through the ‘Switzerland of Africa’ area known as Kigezi Highlands with its terraced hillside and winding roads. Pass through Ishasha where you will have an opportunity to see the tree climbing lions or take the alternative route through the cultivated area. Overnight at Lake Kitandara Tented Camp (full board).
DAY 5
Kigezi Highlands. Go for gorilla tracking walking up steeply in the dense rain forest through different animals’ trails allowing access to tourists. Gorilla tracking is an inspiring and wonderful adventure which one can’t afford to miss. The Gorillas are and peaceful animals and it is an unforgettable experience to watch and photograph them as they interact. Overnight at Lake Kitandara Tented Camp (full board).
DAY 6
Kampala. After breakfast, Leisurely drive back to Kampala with a stop over for lunch en-route. Stop at the Mpigi Royal Drum Makers en-route where you will be able to watch the ceremonial drums being crafted using methods passed down through the generations. There will also be time to stop at the Equator for photographs. You will arrive in Kampala in the early evening. Overnight at Fang Fang Hotel (bed & breakfast).
DAY 7
We say goodbye to you at the Airport to catch your flight home. End of journey.
